:: Tears of the Moon ::

If my life could be a song, it'd be Plumb's Real, which starts off with "Look at me, twenty-three, beautiful sight to see tonight." Which is, incidentally, my age last year. But the lyrics still apply. Do I get life half the time? I don't. I'm just struggling to get by. In the meantime, I write, I read, I observe. This journal is what it feels like.

The guy thing?

It sucks.

Sucks, in a good way. At least there's something other than work that stresses me out.

Thing is, I'm not the kind of girl who's used to juggling multiples, you know?

It's one thing to suffer drought all throughout my entire working life, and another to experience a deluge. But it's a problem I'd rather have. I just hope that train wrecks don't happen in the course of my discovering all of this. I feel like being blindfolded and thrown into the deep end of the pool. I'm supposed to figure this out all of a sudden? I'm still feeling my way through.

I hope I make the right decisions, though.

I like the car, though. Chevy Optra with leather seats. Personable. Good potential to be a friend, pending further investigation. Very easygoing. I'm worried that I might have caused an uproar.

Considering that Days have been X for all this time, is he really all that shocked that someone else quickly made a hit, and on the first day of having met me? Gah.

Had a very long day that involved basically being awake the past 24 hours. And I still have the tonsilitis. I refuse to swear off banana splits (which caused the tonsilitis in the first place), so I'm brushing, gargling and drinking water like crazy.

Also had something to do with two tall cups of Cafe Americano from Starbucks: I've put in three sugar packets in the damn thing and it was still bitter. But, hell I was awake enough for two people, hey!

I was in Friday mode very early in the day. Good thing work was fine.

The guy thing was complicated, though. *rolleyes*

The breakfast thing was cancelled, so I hitched a ride home. Went out of the house again at ten to go to the Podium to buy a christening gift for Joyce's baptism tomorrow.

Ate lunch with Chi at Kitaro and had a maki food trip (26 pieces of maki between us). The San Miguel Philharmonic and San Miguel Chorale had a free summer festival show at 5pm, so we stayed behind and waited for Bryan to come. Stayed till seven, got some art paper, and headed home.

Headed straight to bed after getting home.

And, we forgot to buy the baby a gift. Lol.
